draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-07

Just submitted -07 version.

I corrected the syntax for "global-r= n" and "global-cic" and ensured that an E.164 country code value without any visual-separator appears after "+" in "global-hex-digits".

Is it possible that this version could go to WGLC ASAP?=A0 as well as
The ENUM Dip Indicator parameter for the "tel" URI <draft-ietf-ip=
tel-tel-enumdi-01.txt>

The ENUM WG may have some dependencies on these fairly soon.

This draft is a work item of the IP Telephony Working Group of the IETF. Title : A Telephony Gateway REgistration Protocol (TGREP) Author(s) : M. Bangalore, et al. Filename : draft-ietf-iptel-tgrep-06.txt Pages : 32 Date : 2005-7-21 This document describes the Telephony Gateway Registration Protocol (TGREP) for registration of telephony prefixes supported by telephony gateways and soft switches. The registration mechanism can also be used to export resource information. The prefix and resource information can then be passed on to a Telephony Routing over IP (TRIP) Location Server, which in turn can propagate that routing information within and between internet telephony administrative domains (ITAD). TGREP shares a lot of similarities with the TRIP Protocol. It has similar procedures and Finite State Machine for session establishment. It also shares the same format for messages and a subset of attributes with TRIP. TGREP entities are valid trip implementations, but they do only a subset of what they otherwise could. In particular, a gateway is always in Send mode, the LS peering with it is always in Receive mode. A URL for this Internet-Draft is: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-tgrep-06.txt To remove yourself from the I-D Announcement list, send a message to i-d-announce-request@ietf.org with the word unsubscribe in the body of the message. You can also visit https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/I-D-announce to change your subscription settings. Internet-Drafts are also available by anonymous FTP. Login with the username "anonymous" and a password of your e-mail address. After logging in, type "cd internet-drafts" and then "get draft-ietf-iptel-tgrep-06.txt". A list of Internet-Drafts directories can be found in http://www.ietf.org/shadow.html or ftp://ftp.ietf.org/ietf/1shadow-sites.txt Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail. Send a message to: mailserv@ietf.org. In the body type: "FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-tgrep-06.txt". NOTE: The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE" command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with "multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on how to manipulate these messages. Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the Internet-Draft. Below is the title, abstract, and URL. Note that the draft duplicates some text from RFC-3219 as background information so that the novice reader (outside of this group) will have an easier time parsing what is being proposed. Assuming the proposed attribute doesn't cause any heartburn, I'd like to eventually advance the draft to a working group document so as to register the attribute with IANA. Comments are deeply appreciated. cheers, -ken Title : TRIP Attribute for Resource Priority Author(s) : K. Carlberg, P. O'Hanlon Filename : draft-carlberg-trip-attribute-rp-00.txt Pages : 10 Date : 2005-9-16 This document defines a new attribute for the TRIP protocol. The attribute associates protocols/services in the PSTN offering authorized prioritization during call setup that are reachable through a TRIP gateway. Current examples of preferential service in the PSTN are Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) in the U.S. and Government Telephone Preference Scheme (GTPS) in the U.K. The proposed attribute for TRIP is based on the NameSpace.Value tupple defined for the SIP resource Priority field.
