I have reviewed this document as part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written primarily for the benefit of the operational area directors. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. Summary: This document follows in the venerable tradition of IP-over-foo documents, none of which concern themselves with operational issues. Based on that precedent, it is ready to go. However, this document is tied closely to RFC 6775, Neighbor Discovery Optimization for IPv6 over Low-Power Wireless Personal Area Networks (6LoWPANs). RFC 6775 identifies a number of deployment and configuration options. Table 3 of that RFC is a starting point, but other choices can be found by searching on "MAY" and (mostly with false positives) "configur". Have these been examined to ensure that they are orthogonal to the operation of IPv6 over G.9959? If there is interaction, an Operational Considerations section may be called for in the present draft, indicating applicability of particular choices to IPv6 over G.9959. Tom Taylor
