Hi all: I have performed an Operations Directorate review of draft-ietf-isis-sbfd-discriminator-02 "This document defines a new optional Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS) TLV named CAPABILITY, formed of multiple sub-TLVs, which allows a router to announce its capabilities within an IS-IS level or the entire routing domain." - - - - This is a straightforward and clear draft, defining a new IS-IS sub-TLV. I wondered whether routers that didn't know about this might have problems with it, but I see that RFC 4971 covers this well. I also wondered wy this draft doesn't describe how te BFD sub-TLV is laid out in its Value field, but I see that's covered in RFC 5305. So, overall a good document, fit for its intended purpose, and ready for publication. One tiny typo: s2 s/S-BFD Discriminators sub-TLVs are formatted/ S-BFD Discriminator sub-TLVs are formatted/ Cheers, Nevil Co-chair, SUPA WG -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Nevil Brownlee Computer Science Department Phone: +64 9 373 7599 x88941 The University of Auckland FAX: +64 9 373 7453 Private Bag 92019, Auckland 1142, New Zealand
