I have reviewed this document as part of the operations directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written primarily for the benefit of the operations area directors. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. Reviewed version: Ethernet in the First Mile Copper (EFMCu) Interfaces MIB draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc5066bis-06.txt Summary: LGTM. This document updates RFC 5066 by informing the community that one of the MIBs is being transferred to the IEEE folk. The document describes a mapping between the current and IEEE version, and asserts that they can coexist. I wouldn't have minded a bit more text describing what folk who currently are using the EFM-CU-MIB mob should *do* -- can they continue using it forever, or should they use the IEEE on instead. Guess each operator should make their own determination. It also introduces a security considerations section for IF-CAP-STACK-MIB. There were a few nits (Standard / Proposed Standard, etc) but they have all been noted or addressed already. One question that I had concerns the "lack a disclaimer for pre-RFC5378 work". I don't think that this is a real issue, but figured I'd flag it anyway…. W -- Life is a concentration camp.
