Folks, I have reviewed draft-ietf-ospf-prefix-link-attr-10 as part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written with the intent of improving the operational aspects of the IETF drafts. Comments that are not addressed in last call may be included in AD reviews during the IESG review. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. Short Summary This document defines OSPF opaque LSAs based on Type-Length-Value (TLV) tuples that can be used to associate additional attributes with prefixes or links. Dependent on the application, these prefixes and links may or not be advertised in the fixed-format LSAs. The OSPF opaque LSAs are optional and fully backward compatible. Evaluation This document is ready for publication. The opaque LSA's solve real problems and the document is well written. Nits The Nit Checker complains about outdated references, but these can be addressed by the RFC editor. Ron Bonica
