This is the start of n OPS-DIR review of draft-ietf-stox-7248bis-12

this ID does not have a “changes since 7248” section which makes it totally unready for publication imo

how is someone who implemented 7248 going to know what they need to to update their code to make it
conform to 7248bis?

also, how is a review unfamiliar with 7248 going to know what the new or changed sections are - those section
are what needs to be reviewed - it is far too late to review 7248 since it was published many years ago
