All,

Who among you is willing to review the update of the FAQ for schools doc
for Julie and me? Also indicate level of your review (fine tooth comb,
pretty careful reading, quick skim, I'll glance at the Table of Contents,
etc.). As noted in the announcement, it's 57 pages long, but much of that
is resources.

We'd like to turn this around and get it up for full RFC status as soon as
possible, so we're setting the deadline at COB Monday, December 11. We'll
work on it that week and get it back into the IESG for review the
following week.

For now, please just reply to this message with a Yes-I'd-love-to or
No-you-gotta-be-kidding and level of effort you'll likely be able to put
into it.

Thanks much!
Jennifer

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories. This draft is a work item of the Internet School Networking
Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Frequently Asked Questions for Schools
       Author(s) : J. Sellers, J. Robichaux
       Filename : draft-ietf-isn-4-schools-00.txt
       Pages : 57
       Date : 11/21/1995

The goal of this FYI RFC, produced by the Internet School Networking (ISN)
group in the User Services Area of the Internet Engineering Task Force
(IETF), is to act as an introduction to the Internet for faculty,
administration, and other school personnel in primary and secondary
schools. The intended audience is educators who are recently connected to
the Internet, who are accessing the Internet by some means other than a
direct connection, or who are just beginning to consider Internet access as
a resource for their schools. Although the Internet Engineering Task Force
is an international organization and this paper will be valuable to
educators in many countries, it is limited in focus to internetworking in
the United States.

Internet-Drafts are available by anonymous FTP. Login with the username
"anonymous" and a password of your e-mail address. After logging in,
type "cd internet-drafts" and then
     "get draft-ietf-isn-4-schools-00.txt".

Send a message to: mailserv@ds.internic.net. In the body type:
     "FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-isn-4-schools-00.txt".

NOTE: The mail server at ds.internic.net can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e., documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
      how to manipulate these messages.

For questions, please mail to Internet-Drafts@cnri.reston.va.us.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version
of the Internet-Draft.
