Proposed Resolution to Issue 82: Response Merging If multiple responses are received, only responses with the ‘C’ bit set are merged. If no responses are received with the ‘C’ bit set, then the responders are notified of a conflict (query sent with the ‘C’ bit set), and then the query is sent again after backing off. |
